Intentionally deferred from the v0.2.0 release. This is a major-version bump that needs its own validation pass (the build + the entity/migration layer for TypeORM; the full type-check for TypeScript) — folding it into the release PR would expand its blast radius. Will be triaged on its own after v0.2.0 ships.

Validated locally against main (post-v0.2.0): TypeORM 1.0.0 installs and the Jest suite stays green (293/293), but nest build (tsc) fails with 3 type errors — TypeORM 1.0 reworked the DataSourceOptions type union, which breaks @nestjs/typeorm's bundled types:
