@mike01 I saw nothing here telling the repo was relocated to gitlab.

Put something in the readme (big) to tell repo was relocated then archive the github repo.
Configure your github and gitlab repo so the github repo is a mirror of the gitlab. https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/workflow/repository_mirroring.html
