@denelon , are you still using this file and it should be updated? Or have we moved on to other GH tracking methods?

I have adjusted how we use milestones. I do put work items in there to help folks track what got delivered, so I'm OK with this PR in general (1.12 was released and we're almost done with 1.28) so if those get updated, I'm OK with merging this.

By update, did you mean the roadmap content? Or to rebase the branch onto current master?

1.12 is GA
1.28 is in progress - Our plan assuming all goes will is for that to GA on the last Tuesday this month.

1.29 is also just getting started since 1.28 is having an RC (Release Candidate build cut to be flighted).

The old releases (1.8/1.9/etc) could also be removed
