Hi, I'm Krista Hein - Aspiring Data Analyst

About Me

I am a data professional with over 10 years of experience working with large datasets, data quality, and complex international projects. My greatest strength is the ability to identify inconsistencies, spot patterns, and solve data-related issues through a structured and detail-oriented approach. I have extensive experience collaborating with cross-funktional stakeholders to ensure data quality, support decision-making, and drive process improvements.

Recently, I expanded my skill set through the intensive 11-week DACA (Data Analyst Career Accelerator) program, where I gained hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Power BI and moderns data workflows while building my first analytics portfolio.

Using SQL, Python, and Power BI, I explored a retail business case study covering data cleaning, customer segmentation, dashboard development, and data pipeline automation. The analysis identified over 5,000 duplicate transactions affecting revenue reporting and highlighted key customer segments with the highest business value.
