Hi, I'm Faiz. A full-stack software engineer based in Kuala Lumpur, currently building production systems in the AgriTech space.
I joined Pro Ladang International as one of two engineers and took ownership of the full stack from day one, handling everything from database schema to cloud deployment. Most of what I build is real, shipped, and in active use by actual users and not just side projects.
My work sits at the intersection of data, maps, and web interfaces. I spend a lot of time thinking about clean architecture, usable UI, and making complex systems feel simple to the people using them.
Outside of work I am obsessing over system design, and occasionally building tools for my own life like a personal finance tracker and a Tahlil group coordinator for my community.
AgriAssist — a GIS-enabled SaaS platform built in collaboration with Pro Ladang International for Malaysian paddy farmers. Covers satellite imagery, pest detection, real-time weather feeds, and subscription access management. Deployed on Google Cloud Run.
Ring-It — a personal finance tool with a custom ledger engine, automated expense tracking, and a clean high-fidelity interface.
Tahlil — a notification and group tracker for Tahlil Raya visits, built for a real community of 50 plus users across 30 houses. Helps hosts prepare and guests know their distance and progress.
