Emulsify Starter

Emulsify Starter is a scaffolding repository for the Emulsify CLI. It creates a standalone, platform-agnostic design system scaffold that runs outside of a CMS or application platform.

Generated projects use Emulsify Core 4 and run Storybook plus asset builds through Vite.

Requirements

• Node.js >=24

Installation

emulsify init --starter <name> or emulsify init --platform none <name>

Local Development

• npm run build builds design system assets with Vite.
• npm run develop runs Vite in watch mode alongside Storybook.
• npm run storybook-build builds static Storybook output.
