Balance the economy through strategic financial policies in a choice-driven card game. Each decision shapes market stability, national debt, and economic growth as you experiment with different economic policy approaches every playthrough. Manage competing interests, respond to shifting financial pressures, and guide your kingdom toward prosperity or economic collapse.
Problem Solving - Elements of resource management and selection of proper financial policies will provide the player with opportunities to feel confident their intelligence Creativity - Players craft their own economic identity by choosing which policies, industries, and financial priorities define their nation. Each combination of decisions creates a different style of economy, allowing players to experiment with unique approaches. - The core gameplay loop consists of:
- Reviewing the current state of the kingdom
- Receiving a policy/event card
- Choosing one of two policy responses
- Watching resources and the kingdom visually change Resources are represented through simple readable meters and environmental changes within the kingdom. These values determine whether the kingdom prospers, stagnates, or collapses.
