The program saves your data as a clean file on your computer. You can open this file with any spreadsheet program like Excel or free alternatives. Each line in the file shows the time, the oxygen percentage, and your heart rate.
If the program does not see the ring, check these items:
- Bluetooth: Ensure your computer Bluetooth is turned on. Look at your taskbar near the clock.
- Proximity: Keep the ring within three feet of the computer during the download.
- Battery: If the ring battery is low, it may stop broadcasting. Charge the ring for 30 minutes before you try the connection again.
- Interference: Move away from other Bluetooth devices, like speakers or headphones, while you download data. Sometimes signals compete for the connection.
Your data stays on your local computer. This software does not send your health information to any outside servers or cloud accounts. You control who sees your oxygen levels. Make sure you keep your computer secure to protect these personal files.
You can use the saved files to track your sleep trends over time. Many users create simple charts to see their average pulse rate during the night. The data format remains consistent, so your charts will work from week to week. You can also print these files if you need to share your progress with a doctor.
Do I need to install drivers? No. Windows manages the drivers for your Bluetooth adapter. This program uses standard tools built into your system.
Can I connect two rings at the same time? The current version supports one connection at a time. Finish your download for one ring before you connect the next one.
Does the software edit the data on the ring? No. The software only reads the information. It leaves the files on your O2Ring-S exactly as they were. You can download the same data multiple times if you need to.
What if the program crashes? Close the window and restart the program. Ensure your Bluetooth is on and then try the connection process again. Most connection errors resolve with a simple restart of the software.
How often should I download data? The memory inside your O2Ring-S will overwrite old data after several days. Download your information at least once a week to ensure you keep a complete history of your pulse and oxygen levels.
