Welcome to the game 1942, a recreation of the 1984 vertically scrolling shooter game by Capcom.

In this game the goal is to defeat all the enemy planes and make it to the end of each level. Make sure to keep shooting down those planes as the waves don't stop!

How To Play

You can use WASD to move and SPACE to shoot!
There are two levels - good luck!

Installation

To download and install the game simply download and extract the 'zip' file. Then double-click the executable '1942 Game Project.exe' and you are good to go!

This game is designed for x64 systems (which is most modern computers).

Please be aware that you might get anti-virus prompts because you are downloading a standalone executable game, you should always be cautious when running unknown executables on your machine. This game does not contain any malware and if you don't believe me you can find the full source code here: https://github.com/PycraftDeveloper/1942​ and even build the game for yourself.
