Modify pull request trigger to only run on main branch.
Adds support for figsize=(x,y) within the figure. Also now explicitly follows internal matplotlib height/width sizing.

This PR has all the branches for fixes I've been working on the past month. It passes all tests however is failing the linter, though I believe this is something we are all dealing with. Please double check on your machine before accepting this PR lowk im scared
