EDYOU OS uses semantic versioning with three components: MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH (e.g., 1.0.0)
-
MAJOR (First digit) — Ubuntu LTS Version Foundation
- Increments when a new Ubuntu LTS version is adopted
- Example: Currently at
1(Ubuntu 24.04 LTS "Noble") → will become2.0.0when upgrading to the next LTS release
-
MINOR (Second digit) — Major Features & Breaking Changes
- Increments for significant software updates, major feature releases, or substantial system changes
- Example:
1.1.0,1.2.0
-
PATCH (Third digit) — Bug Fixes & Minor Updates
- Increments for bug fixes, security patches, and minor improvements
- Example:
1.0.1,1.0.2

In a BitTorrent network, files are shared between users rather than downloaded from a single central server. A leecher only downloads data, while a seeder shares the complete file with others.
If you want a healthy, fast, and reliable torrent ecosystem, it is important to continue seeding after your download is finished. Every seeder increases availability, improves download speeds for others, and prevents torrents from dying out.
Without seeders, torrents become unusable even if the file is valid.
Be a Seeder, not just a Leecher.
- Seeder = Someone who hosts the full file for others (very cool person! 😎 )
- Leecher = Someone who is just downloading the ISO file through torrent (please become a seeder and help the community!)
