Same as clicking the "Install Winboat" button in CachyOS Hello.

I put it in the "Other" category, because it didn't seem to fit anywhere else. MX Linux puts Wine in Misc, so I think that seems fair.

I don't think we need a duplicated option

I think the same logic applies here: #42 (comment)

People will naturally look for winboat in the package installer. Right now it is not there. It's in CachyOS Hello. That's not where I'd look. It can only be an advantage to help people find what they are looking for and if it is popular enough to be in the welcome application, it's certainly popular enough for the package installer.

Mhm, I dont think this is good. This is not the same as the "winboat button" in the utilities page in cachyos-hello.

There are also configuration steps happening, like enabling the docker.socket as well as adding the user to the docker group.

Could that be solved with a meta package with post installation scripts?

It seems good for discoverability if users can find Winboat directly in the package installer. To me, the natural thing to do would be to search for it in the package installer, not to look for a button in the welcome application.

Need to think about this. On one hand it does require additional docker setup as a precondition. But on another this is a package installer app, so it shouldn't matter in the end. That's on user to have a system that aligns with the package. E.g. if they install rog-control-center, they must already have asus machine for it to work.
