Sorry I forgot to mention, this is on the latest version of the Zen browser, which is based off Firefox.

@xandertreat thanks and sorry, I only now noticed this issue exists.

I remember having an issue with the playground some months ago with every browser, that eventually managed to fix. So maybe now works as expected? I tested with Firefox and these work.
