PDK Dev Call Updates – February 10th, 2026

Armin

• Async persistence FFI review was re-requested; needs follow-up review.

• Focused this week on the dense representation in the transaction indexer.

  • Refactoring the typed AST representation and storage traits to support generic ID types.
  • This work requires deep focus; context switching is costly, so prioritizing completion.

• Noticed a new simulation PR from Damola and plans to review it.

Dan

• Continuing to apply for grants.

• Ongoing discussions with Localhost, Spacebear, and Ben about running the directory and metrics.

  • Targeting a solution by end of week.
  • Lack of metrics currently limits confidence in real deployments.

Ben

• Progressing on Payjoin receive support in Liana; opened a WIP upstream PR: [WIP] Payjoin receiver wizardsardine/liana#2011
• Reviewing Chavic’s FFI primitives ffi work
• Started building a workflow to automate Docker image creation for Payjoin services.
• Last week: the fuzzer work was merged.
• Dan added a CI job to ensure the fuzzer builds correctly Fuzzing enhancements #1314

Chavic

• Progressing on C# FFI support; currently in draft Add C# language bindings for payjoin-ffi #1318
• Working on issue #1663 and needs to rebase.

Damola

• Last week: refactored the broadcast set in the simulation code.
• Implemented BIP42 logic in the simulator to prevent mining reward overflow.
• Continuing to ramp up on the codebase.
• This week: deepen familiarity and take on more simulation tasks.

Zealsham

• Last week: metrics service PR reached readiness.

• This week:

  • Working on the DB service in the payjoin service (ticket ?)
  • Reviewing the OHTTP middleware layer
  • Developing the DB service in the Payjoin service and reviewing the central metrics service Aggregated metrics for payjoin-service (with OTel Collector sidecar) #1323

• Raised concerns about the rationale for a centralized metrics sink

• Dan clarified:

  • Goal is to measure ecosystem traction while keeping the protocol decentralized.
  • Participation would be opt-in; operators request a token (?) to submit metrics.

this week i plan to continue the metrics integration, merge FFI PRs that I forgot on the stove, and follow up on bull bitcoin mobile 1.0 upgrade
