Investigation update on mathlive i18n:

There are two separate localization gaps:

1. Editing/navigation announcements (e.g., "start of fraction", "deleted:", "numerator") — these are hardcoded in English in mathlive's a11y.ts. Filed upstream as arnog/mathlive#2948. We can work around this by monkey-patching the announce hook to post-process and translate the finite set of known English strings. Tracked in Monkey-patch mathlive screen reader announcements for localization #5743.

2. Math content speech (reading the actual formulas aloud) — this relies on the Speech Rule Engine (SRE) library, which does not support Arabic or Portuguese. Adding a new SRE locale requires translating ~2,500 strings (mostly symbol names) and defining math speech rules. This is a significantly larger effort and not something we can easily monkey-patch.
