Make skills configurable and adaptive for all users #98

Description

Summary

Comprehensive audit of all distributed toolkit skills identified areas where skills are too tailored to a single user's preferences, services, and lifestyle. An implementation plan has been written and approved covering all changes needed to make the toolkit adaptive for any user.

Implementation Plan

See docs/plans/user-configurability-plan (03-30-2026).md

Changes Covered

  • Calendar service & mapping — configurable service (Google/Apple) and calendar name mapping
  • Journal domains — 7 new universal defaults replacing 11 life-stage-specific ones, tiered sweep, custom domain support
  • Inbox output providers — service-agnostic task creation and calendar event creation (matching existing input provider abstraction)
  • Encyclopedia source files — 7 core files + custom files via manifest with overlap detection
  • Compiled encyclopedia output — 5 default sections (redesigned), configurable via manifest
  • Journaling worldview probes — generalized from political-only to all values/beliefs/worldview topics
  • Personal examples — genericize life-specific references in compile and librarian skill files

Suggested Implementation Order

  1. Personal examples (cosmetic, quick)
  2. Political probes (small, one file)
  3. Journal domains (self-contained)
  4. Calendar/task service abstraction (interconnected)
  5. Encyclopedia manifest system (largest change)
