Description

@svedbox

Device info

  • Laptop: Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra (PAMC)
  • OS: Ubuntu 26.04 (Resolute Raccoon)
  • Kernel: 7.0.0-15-generic

Hardware

  • IPU: Intel Panther Lake IPU (PCI 00:05.0, rev 0f)
  • Camera sensor: SSLC2000:00 (Samsung)
  • IVSC: ivsc_csi / ivsc_ace loaded

Current status

IPU7 modules load successfully:

  • intel_ipu7, intel_ipu7_isys, intel_ipu7_psys — loaded
  • ipu7-drivers/0~git202602091007 via DKMS — installed
  • Firmware ipu7ptl_fw.bin.zst — present

ACPI detects the sensor:
int3472-discrete INT3472:00: Found sensor SSLC2000:00 via SSDB controllogicid=0 fallback

But no kernel driver exists for SSLC2000. /dev/video0-31 are created
but streaming fails with "Link has been severed".

What's missing

A v4l2-subdev driver for the Samsung SSLC2000 camera sensor.
