When you run RUN level model, mask file can't be selected

When I remove the add mask option in the model JOSN file, it will run smoothly. But when you add it it will make run error like this.
04-Apr-2025 12:58:42 - Failed 'fMRI model specification' Index exceeds the number of array elements. Index must not exceed 0. In file "/Users/yufenghe/spm12/config/spm_run_fmri_spec.m" (v7739), function "spm_run_fmri_spec" at line 391.

Check the batch file and find mask data in nii.gz format was selected. But the spm can't use .nii.gz file.

Make sure your fmriprep file has a mask with .nii format, and edit your model JOSN file to make sure the .nii mask is selected.
