I also think the further improvements on filter pushdown could be highlighted in the blog:

• perf: Push down join key filters for LEFT/RIGHT/ANTI joins #19918
• feat: Pushdown filters through UnionExec nodes #20145
• Support parent dynamic filters for more join types #20192
• Extend dynamic filter to joins that preserve probe side ON #20447 (if merged until then)
