SUMMARY

this is a follow-up on #7753 . In #7766 the search filter is imp[roved, but several UI components do not use the search filter component and need the same functionality. as described in a comment about account creation and about network creation several othe locations in the UI suffer the same issue and are not solved by the fix in #7766

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

search for an item in a drop down that contains more than 500 items (by partially entering its name)

EXPECTED RESULTS

the item should be selectable

ACTUAL RESULTS

nothing beyond the first 500 items shows
