If nether-sky is enable in world.yml config blank screen comes up on start of BloodMoon

When nether sky is enabled you get a blank black screen except your arms and the hot-bar. When I stop the BloodMoon event, chunks seem to not load in until I move and there are these strange floating blocks. Logging out then back in fixes the issue for each player while BloodMoon is not in progress. See screenshots.

This is a problem with Minecraft and not the plugin, Have you tried using f3+a during the bloodmoon?
