Swiping the email thread left or right leads to archiving instead of deleting

I noticed that swiping an email thread from the INBOX either to the left or right leads to archiving instead of one of two being a "delete email" action rather than both as "archive".

I think we may also need a dedicated “Archive” label as part of the default list of email labels. That would be extremely useful, since it is one of the default labels Gmail users expect to find.
