How can I get it run on iOS?

I have developed several iOS apps for Lua programming. I use the Runestone editor for code editing, it supports syntax highlighting by Treesitter.
I want to add more useful features to the code editor. After searching for days, i decide to use LSP to implement it.
For the LSP server side, I plan to port the LuaHelper to iOS platform, and I need a client.
I see the demo code in README, it's for macOS, i know the difference is the supporting of Process, there are no Process on iOS platform. I don't know if I can use Thread to implement.

Hello - I'd love to help you out here! The LSP specification is built around IPC and dedicated separate processes, neither of which are supported on iOS.

A lot of the facilities in this library are built to manage unmodified servers. In your case, you'll need to build the server into your iOS process. Just glancing at it, it appears to be built in go. I'm very interested to hear about your plan here! You might also be interested in reaching out to the folks at Codea. I know they have done a lot of work on Lua and language servers for iOS and I've had great luck collaborating with them.

If you can figure out how to get a byte stream into and out of the LauHelper system, operating within the same process as your code, I think we can make this all work.

Thank for your reply. I know the LuaHelper LSP server can run at socket mode, https://github.com/Tencent/LuaHelper/blob/master/luahelper-lsp/main.go, so if I can port the server on iOS, then run is in a background thread, then I can use this client to connect to it using socket.
But I didn't see this project support using socket connection, maybe I am missing something. Could you point it out?

I know Codea is a great programming app on iOS, it's far more complicate and powerful than my apps. I don't know what tech stacks they used for code editing, maybe LSP or regular expression.

Yes that's right! You just need a DataChannel that is capable of reading/writing to the system. I think the InitializingServer will be the most appropriate for now. If I can help out in with any use of this library, please let me know!

Ah sorry, missed this. No, there's no built in socket support. But I suspect that it will look very similar to using stdio, which is implemented in a lower-level library here:
