Correct me if I'm wrong since I'm not a modder, but it seems like you're just looking for the InputConstants value for whatever key is being pressed, which this does not include side mouse buttons (though lmb/rmb don't seem to work in the mod even though they're listed in the documentation?).
It'd be nice to be able to use side mouse buttons.
